COLLECTION
There
are 200 books related to classical music and dance
and magazines on the same subject in Music section.
Along with this different programmes arranged by music
section and of other musicians around 600 audio cassettes
are also available. There is video collection of around
20 festivals as well in music section .
RARE
INSTRUMENT COLLECTION
There
are many classical instruments whose music capacity
and creativity has numerous possibilities but then
too they are not in much practice among music lovers.
of these most of the instruments are very difficult
to use. There are some instruments which need to be
preserved pr else our coming generation will have
no knowledge about them. Keeping this view in mind
Ustad Alauddin Khan music and Arts Academy, Music
section, Bhopal is working towards preservation of
rare musical instruments. Only this is how we can
protest, preserve and develop our tradition.
In this instrument preservation by Music section Rudra
Veena, Vichitra Veena, Sarod, Sitar. Santoor, Sundari,
Chandra Sarang, Lateef Saarang, Violen, Mayuri Veena,
Israj, Baansuri, Saarangi, Saraswati Veena, Sur Singar,
Dilruba, Mendolin and Rabab have been collected .
According to the planning's of Academy in future also
such instruments of Indian Classical music will be
compiled and there is a possibility of establishment
of a museum on a high level.
