The
objective of Sindhi literature section of Madhya Pradesh
Cultural Council, Sahitya Academy, is to encourage
and develop Sindhi language, literature, culture and
art , to publish new creative and critical literature,
to organize literary gathering, meeting, assembly,
national seminar etc. and to perform the following
to archive aforesaid aims-
To
organize creative workshop for young writer on contemporary
writing.
to organize programmer's focusing on leading Sindhi
literary figures.
To organize seminar on contemporary genies and reflection
and subject based memorial lectures.
To organize meeting, seminar, Mushaira etc.
To organize drama presentation on Sindhi poetry, musical
presentation and poetry recitation.
To organize on a common platform the prose and poetry
of Sindhi, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi collectively
To organize music and dance based on Sindhi plays,
folk songs and tales.
To organize exhibition on book and pictures related
to Sindhi literature and culture.
To provide manuscript grant to Sindhi writers of the
state to publish book.
To organize workshops on story, poetry and drama.
To organize training camps to train Sindhi mother
language.
To publish Hindi translation of Sindhi poetry in the
same metro.
ORGANIZES
National
Sindhi Seminar - initiating year 1983 seminar is organized
with the help of all India sindhi dialect and Literature
council, Jaipur, a national level institution. Here
famous scholars and writers present their suggestion
through discussion and writings which is a significant
port of the progress of Sindhi literature.
LECTURES
and SPEECHS
Women's contribution in the - This is an essential
activity for the publicity development of Sindhi mother
and development of the mother tongue. It is Language
oraganized to invite scholars and writers of Sindhi
society and benefit from their Speech on particular
subjects.
Contribution of saints in the - This is an essential
activity for the publicity development of Sindhi mother
and development of the mother tongue. It is Language
oraganized to invite scholars and writers of Sindhi
society and benefit from their Speechs on particular
subjects
PROGRAMMES
Sindhu
festival - Inaugural year 1997. It is organized to
keep Sindhi cultural tradition alive through sindhi
folk music, folk dance, exhibitions etc.
Cultural event - Inaugural year 1987. This organization
is essential to popularize and rejuvenate the fading
ancient Sindhu cultural tradition
Group Patriotic song competition - Inaugural year
1997. To create interest in young and talented artists
in their mother tongue and Sindhi ancient culture
and also provide them with a platform.
Group Patriotic Song Competition - Inaugural year
1997. An effort to persuade talented students in patriotism
along with art and mother tongue. Also a pleasant
endeavor to present the songs of writer musically.
Three such programs have been held till now.
MEMORIALS
Poetry reading - This program is held in the memory
of leading Sindhi writers and to publicize and develop
Sindhi literature.
DIALOGUE
/ SPEECH
State level Sindhi seminar - Inaugural year 1983.
The writers of the state are invited to discuss the
subject of literary development. Also writers of the
state try to bring awareness towards protections of
the mother language and literature through written
methods. 15 state level seminars have been conducted.
Prize & Adornments - Inaugural year 2001 . It
is proposed to raise the prize of Sindhi prose and
poetry from 7,500/- to 10,000/- This function is significant
for encouraging and honoring the writers .
WORKSHOP
Poetry workshop - Inaugural year 1983. budding writers
are given knowledge about the poetry and trained in
metre and continuous work plan . They are also provided
a platform in the organization of the Academy.
Dramatics workshop - Inaugural year 1983. To conserve
and develop the mother tongue, school children are
trained from the beginning to enrich knowledge and
that of their mother language
