Alama
Iqbal Adabi Margaz was constituted on September 27,
1984 by the cultural division of Madhya Pradesh government
to disseminate Iqbal literature. On January 2, 1988
this unit was formed by the name of All India Allama
Iqbal Adabi Margaz . Presently, it is functioning
as a section of Sahitya Academy.
A committee was formed to control the activities,
policy making and income expenditure of Alama Iqbal
Adabi Margaz , which was established in the memory
of the famous peot and the writer of "Sare Kajam
Se Achcha Hindostan Hamara " shayar - e mashriq,
Allume Iqbal. The first board of this committee comprised
nation's well known personalities and learned men
from Urdu of which the member were Shri Mamnoon Hasan
Khan (President), Dr Abu Mohammd Sahar, Shri Shyam
Bharose, Shri Aofak Ahmed, Dr. Aole Ahmed Surur, Dr.Ali
Sardar Jafri, Shri Jagannath Azad and Kumari Muentul
N. Haider.
SCOPE
AND DIMENSIONS
To
disseminate the poetry and thinking of Allama Iqbal
adabi margaz , organizes certain programs including
seminar, speech, poetic assembly, meeting, Sham-e-gazal.
Literature of related to Iqbal is published
To
bring awareness among the new generations regarding
composition, poetry and thinking of Iqbal various
programmes are held -
